the TV model is (32EX400) and the home theater model is (DZ340K) ,, the tv and the theater both doesn’t have optical out ,, so what to do ?? i tried with the HD cable but i cant do it
Answer by ChrisThe TV has audio out on red & white RCA/phono/cinch connectors. TV input No #1 can be switched from being an input to being an output using the TV menus. Switch it to become an output. The sound from the TV tuner will then become available at that socket.
Next, you need a stereo phono to stereo phono lead (2xRCA to 2xRCA)
Connect TV socket #1 red & white phonos with one end of the cable. Connect the other end of the cable to the sockets marked TV “R Audio in L” on the rear of the DZ340K.
Turn the TV on and put it on the TV tuner. Turn the surround system on and press the Audio Input button on the DZ340K remote control until you hear the sound of the TV channel through the surround speakers as well as the TV. Turn the volume down of the TV speakers.
