Question of mkb9491 : what do i do when my 3d vizio Vx tv is stuck in store demo mode?


My 3D vizio tv is stuck in store demo and i do not have the original vizio remote, how would i get it off store demo? Also when i turn the tv on it usually shows the vizio symbol and then turns back off by itself, what could be wrong and how would i fix this?

I’ve already tried 2 different universal remotes and neither of them worked for us, the side buttons on the tv wouldn’t let us do anything either. :(

Somebody asked this question last week about a Samsung TV. I have a Samsung and I know it’s possible to change the TV mode without the remote. Just find the “menu” button on the side of the TV. On most sets, it’s the second button down from the top. You’re going to have to use either the vol up and down or channel up down to scroll through the menu for TV “mode.” It’s usually the first feature. It is possible to change the TV mode without the remote. It’s just tricky. If you can’t do it, go to Walgreen’s or someplace and pick up a RCA universal remote. They used to be six dollars a few years ago but now I think they’re $ 12 or $ 13.
