Question of Brian : LED TV question…difference between 720 and 1080p?

I want to get a new LED TV, preferably between 24-32 inches. So i’ve seen some nicely priced Samsung and LG tvs that were around 26 or so inches. But the TV’s were both in 720p, and from what i know about TV’s i thought 1080p was the best. Is there a real big difference between 720p and 1080p?

Answer by sithlord278
At that size, not so much. You really start to notice the 1080p difference starting at 40 in. But if you are buying a TV of that size, it would be better if you got an LCD TV. You will get more bang for your buck. Remember, LED TV’s are LCD TV’s with a different lighting source in back. Normal LCD TV’s have a CFL light in the back illuminating the screen. LED’s LCD TV’s have LED’s lighting it, but it’s the same screen.
