is there a big difference between them? i know the LED costs more but is it worth spending the extra money?

Liquid Emiting Diode…vs….Liquid Crystal Display. LCD would be less of a good display than the LED, in my opinion. Also, LCD takes more energy to run, and with something needing a fix or repair, the LCD would be more costly overall.
